Dr. Poornima Nair serves as Consultant Neurologist and In-Charge of the Stroke Unit at IRIS Hospital. She earned her MBBS and MD in General Medicine before specializing with a DM in Neurology. Her advanced international training includes MRCP and SCE Neurology credentials, along with a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Stroke. She has further specialized through fellowships in Neuro-ophthalmology, Headache Medicine, and Stroke Neurology.
With a comprehensive academic and clinical background, Dr. Nair is dedicated to providing expert care in neurological disorders, with a particular focus on stroke management, neuro-ophthalmological conditions, and headache disorders. Her leadership in the Stroke Unit ensures the delivery of advanced, evidence-based care to improve outcomes for patients with complex neurological conditions.
