Dr. Vishad Viswanath
MD (Gen Med), DM (Clinical Immunology)
Dr. Vishad Viswanath is an alumnus of Medical College Trivandrum, where he completed his MBBS. He received his MD in General Medicine from Medical College Kottayam, Kerala, and joined the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute for Medical Sciences, Lucknow, for his DM training. He completed his DM in 2011 and joined Christian Medical College, Vellore, as a Consultant in the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology. At CMC, he was involved in patient care and the training of DM and fellowship students in Rheumatology. He played a key role in operationalizing the extremity MRI unit at CMC, one of the first of its kind in India. He returned to Kerala in 2013, providing essential services to patients with various rheumatic diseases.
Dr. Vishad has received numerous awards, including the prestigious NTSE scholarship, IRA Young Investigator Award, and Best DM Resident in Medical Specialties Award at SGPGI. He is well-published in national and international journals and is actively involved in educational activities to raise awareness about rheumatic diseases among doctors and the general public. He has also served as associate editor for the International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases and assistant editor for the Indian Journal of Rheumatology.
Dr. SHEHANAAZ BEGUM
MD, DNB (Pulmonary Medicine) MRCP- SCE in Respiratory Medicine
Dr. Shehanaaz Begum earned her MBBS and MD from Government Medical College, Trivandrum, where she achieved first rank in the MD Pulmonary Medicine exam conducted by KUHS. With a strong foundation in pulmonary medicine, her clinical interests focus on interstitial lung diseases, respiratory allergies, and sleep medicine.
Dr. Shehanaaz Begum is dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and management of complex respiratory conditions, bringing a depth of expertise to her practice. Dr. Veena V Nair
MBBS, MD, Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology
Dr. Veena V Nair is a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinologist at IRIS Hospital, specializing in the diagnosis and management of hormonal disorders in children and adolescents. With her extensive knowledge and experience in pediatric endocrinology, she provides expert care for conditions such as growth disorders, puberty-related issues, thyroid abnormalities, and diabetes. Dr. Veena completed her MBBS and MD, followed by a prestigious fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology. Dr. Sabari Girish R

Dr. Sabari Girish R is a Senior Consultant Spine Surgeon with over 12 years of experience in treating spinal disorders at various tertiary care centers in Kerala. He completed his MBBS from Trivandrum Medical College, MS from KMC Manipal, and specialized training through PDCC Spine Fellowship at Amrita Hospital Cochin and Spine Diploma from the European Board.
Previously, he served as an Orthopaedic Spine Consultant at Aster Medicity Cochin, Visiting Surgeon at RCC Thiruvananthapuram, and Associate Professor at SUTAMS Thiruvananthapuram. Currently, he trains postgraduates in Orthopaedics at Cosmopolitan Hospital and practices at Cosmopolitan Hospital, GG Hospital Thiruvananthapuram, and IRIS Thiruvananthapuram. Dr. Sabari's interests include spinal deformities, primary and metastatic tumors of the spine, and minimally invasive spine surgeries. He is also a well-published author and an invited faculty at national spine conferences.

Dr. Harikrishnan U S is a consultant Radiologist with over 15 years of experience. He graduated MBBS from Trivandrum Medical College and completed his MD in Radiodiagnosis from GMC Guwahati. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, London.
Dr. Harikrishnan has a special interest in Musculoskeletal imaging and is well versed in musculoskeletal interventional procedures. His other clinical interests include GI imaging and cardiovascular imaging. His extensive expertise allows him to provide precise diagnostic interpretations and guide effective treatment planning for complex cases.

Dr. Poornima Nair serves as Consultant Neurologist and In-Charge of the Stroke Unit at IRIS Hospital. She earned her MBBS and MD in General Medicine before specializing with a DM in Neurology. Her advanced international training includes MRCP and SCE Neurology credentials, along with a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Stroke. She has further specialized through fellowships in Neuro-ophthalmology, Headache Medicine, and Stroke Neurology.
